Almost the end of 2011

I am sitting here now and wondering where the year has gone. I have accomplished half a year of college with passing grades, applied to go to Saint Leo in the fall where I will be leaving Indygo for the time I'm in school(besides holidays and weekend meetings if we can). I plan on getting a laptop for work in classes and for easy posting access when I have the whim.

I definitely mean to post more about what is going on in my life and other thoughts that pop into my mind.

But for now I will say Have a Great New Year!!

Equality

I just want to share with all of you this sweet video. You don't have to agree with Equality of marriage between two men or two women to enjoy this. And maybe it will open your eyes to the love that can be shared between them and that we need to have the same rights.

So enjoy this and have a Very Merry Christmas

Missing Comments

A Message From Indygo:

Willow brought it to my attention that she accidentally deleted two comments as she isn't use to blogger. If the poster of those comments would be so sweet as to repost them that would be great!

Thanks!

Christmas

The smell of pine in the house, decorating the Christmas tree and a wonderful light display for outside. Spending Christmas Eve with family and friends and waking up real early on Christmas day to end up talking with siblings while waiting for parents to get up.

All of these are memories I have of this wonderful season. This is what I look forward to every year. Christmas is a time for family to get together and enjoy the company that it brings.

Even if you don't have a Christmas tree or any presents for Christmas day. Enjoy the season for what it should be.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year

Snakes in the House

So I am at my sisters house right now with one of my brother-in-laws snakes(Ball python) around my neck. I've always wondered how you could tell the difference between male and females. Well now I know.

The male snake at the tail goes from thick to thin without the gradual affect while the female is a nice smooth thinning.

Now there is much controversy to snakes. My mother has owned two ball pythons and my brother-in-law has 3 pythons and a rat snake in the house. There has never been any incidents with them harming anyone(even if the rat snake is aggressive by nature.)

The ball pythons if not careful, and they get around your neck, will constrict slightly. But it is in their nature and not their fault especially if they are seeking warmth. There is no need to hide your children from them. Let alone it is a great experience for the children to see and learn from watching how a snake lives and sometimes even eats its food.

All in all ball pythons are gently and elegant creatures

So December is upon us and the Christmas season is closing in along with cool weather. That means lots of decoration for me and my fiancee for all the children of our neighborhood and anyone else to see. Here's what else I've been up to:

  • This Past Tuesday I went to my Fathers Boyscout troops Christmas party. It was a fun evening even though my father stole a running water candle holder that I really liked from me at the Santa exchange but I'm sure I'll get it for Christmas.
  • The First Term of College is over with and I passed with Two B's and Two C's. Now I'll have a whole month before I go back for the spring term.

I know not much for this month and I'm sorry I don't post much. But that I believe will be my New Years Resolution. To start posting more and not forgetting about it.
Well I hope you all have a Happy Holiday and New Year.

So I have gotten this idea from My fiancee. This will be when I give you updates on my life and other important events maybe once a month or more depending on what's happened. So here we go!

  • My family and I have started our diets again after gaining back the weight we had lost last year. I know I had a good reason what with my familiar dying but it wasn't an excuse to go this long without working on losing weight.
  • School is almost over. Just a few more weeks and the first half is over and I can pick new classes for January's term. I don't know yet what I'll Take.
  • The beginning of this month I went to Tennessee to celebrate my Niece's 16th birthday. That was really fun and nice to get away and enjoy the fall weather(being there's none in Florida)
  • I got to hang out with my friend that I haven't seen in forever and he has offered to pay for Indygo and my's wedding. I don't know yet what to say about that. Its just so shocking to me right now.

I think that is all for now. Please stay and enjoy the calmness of the stream as long as you wish.

Its official

So last night was ordered my Engagement/Promise ring and our wedding planners are almost here (today or tomorrow).

If you don't know already, My partner Indygo and I are engaged to be married.(happy dance) The actual wedding isn't going to be for a while what with money, college and of course everything else going wrong in life right now. But it's going to be fun planning it for then. My thoughts are a Celtic fall wedding. The dress style for the bridesmaids and maid of honor have already been decided. Now all we need is to actually agree on everything else. (Lol)

life.

So I'm sitting in my college E building hallway waiting for my future spouse to get out of her class. Already this week isn't turning out great. I still have decorations to get down from the loft in my shed and not much time to put the decorations up. (I'm procrastinating) My brother won't even help, he is so being so lazy.

But all in all my biology exam that was to be due tomorrow isn't going to be due then. So that is a plus.
On another note I am looking into going to St. Pete college in Florida for their Vet tech program. All I need to do is figure out where to get my 40 hr volunteering done at a vet hospital around here. Let alone all the classes I have to take before I can even enroll in the College.

Well more to be posted later.

Halloween

Well it is October and I am excited for dressing up. This year I am to be a Pirate. To the left are the new boots that I bought to go with my costume. I also have a cutlass, pistol and a treasure chest. The treasure chest is going to be painted to look old with rope handles and a latch to keep it closed (if I can ever find one). Inside I have plastic gems, pearls, and gold coins.

I haven't yet gotten to decorating the house this year. Usually it takes part of September and all of October to get all the decorating done. But this year I think I'm going to keep it simple. (What with college and all)

The Begining

So I have had a blog on this site before with a few friends of mine a while ago. I had blogged almost every day on there and I realized, since the dis-banning of that blog , that I miss posting things on this site and that it gives me a chance to express myself even if its only read by me. So here I go and welcome to Willow's Stream.

So Let me tell you a little about myself:

  • I am a 19 year old female who has a female partner
  • I am a lazy Wiccan ( meaning that I don't do much practicing of the art and such but do celebrate and acknowledge the goddess and the holiday seasons)
  • This blog will mostly be my ramblings and what has happened in my life
So, more to be posted later.
